STESS is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) available for use throughout NIST to facilitate the direct award of contract for the performance of scientific, technical, and engineering services. Services provided under this vehicle include: standards development, research in measurement science, design or modification of scientific measurement instrumentation and methods, optimization of existing measurement instrumentation and methods, mathematical and statistical analyses and modeling of data, writing of technical reports, calculation or measurement of chemical and physical properties, computer science, and the development of applications of measurement science to the biosciences, among others.
