Employees in Dakota Consulting’s Dayton office took a day off on the Sept. 11 National Day of Community Service to improve their environment by volunteering at Cox Arboretum in Dayton, Ohio.
Armed with gardening and forestry tools, a volunteer staff of more than 25, led by Project Manager Lee Davis, cleared invasive brush, such as honeysuckle, and planted flowers in a Dayton, Ohio, city park.
The anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the United States is widely recognized as a time to pay homage to the sacrifice of those who serve in the military. The Dayton, Ohio, office provides management and technical services to the U.S. military at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
