Dakota Consulting, Inc., is pleased to announce that its Software Engineering and IT Consulting services have been appraised at Maturity Level 2 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® for Development (CMMI-DEV 1.3). Dakota was first appraised at Level 2 in 2015.
Level 2 indicates the organization is performing at a “managed” level. Managed projects ensure that processes are planned and executed in accordance with policy; projects employ skilled people who have adequate resources to produce controlled outputs; relevant stakeholders are involved in the project; project progress is monitored, controlled, and reviewed; and processes are evaluated for adherence to their process descriptions.
