Dakota employees brightened the holiday season for low-income children again this year. Dakota partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to participate in the toy drive by encouraging Dakota employees to donate unwrapped children’s gifts.
This year’s collected toys were dropped off by Dakota employees at the corporate office in Silver Spring, Maryland and its Dayton, Ohio office to Marine Corps Reserve collection sites. The toy drive has a long tradition at Dakota and with the military branch, which established the program in 1947 to provide toys for children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts at Christmas.
