Dakota’s annual corporate backpack and school supply drive was our biggest yet. All of Dakota’s locations collected backpacks and filled them to the brim with notebooks, paper, folders, glue sticks, pens, pencils, erasers, and more. In total, nearly 70 backpacks were distributed to children in homeless and domestic violence shelters in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, near Dakota’s Silver Spring, Maryland headquarters, and offices in Dayton, Ohio, and Denver, Colorado.
