Dakota Mounts Food Drive During Pandemic

July 15, 2020

Community compassion sparked a new round of selfless giving by Dakota employees this summer. Under the leadership of Human Resources Director, Lisa Clark-Hawkins, employees donated funds and purchased non-perishable food for the Dakota Cares! food drive. The donated food was dropped off by Clark-Hawkins and Vice President Lokesh Sayal to the Capital Area Food Bank near Dakota’s Washington, D.C. headquarters. The food bank’s resources have been rapidly dwindling from greater demand during the coronavirus pandemic and resulting economic downturn.
