Dakota Consulting employees rallied again this summer to help children in need return to school with backpacks filled with supplies for the new school year. Held annually as part of Dakota’s “giving back” program, the back-to-school supplies drive enabled children to start off the 2018-2019 school year prepared with school supplies they need to succeed.
The donations benefited children in local communities in the Washington metropolitan region, where Dakota’s corporate office is located, and in Denver, Colorado and Cincinnati, Ohio, where Dakota has regional offices. The effort is part of Dakota’s dedication to educating the future generation of scientific and technical workers.
Dakota’s contributions were donated to two non-profit agencies that serve children and families with limited resources. In the Washington, D.C. region, Dakota donated supplies to the National Center for Children and Families in Bethesda. Dakota’s Denver and Cincinnati/Dayton, Ohio office employees donated back-to-school resources to Volunteers of America’s Operation Backpack® campaign.
