Whitney Hood Robinson

Director, Finance

Whitney Hood Robinson is the Director of Finance at Dakota Consulting, Inc. In this role, Whitney is responsible for all financial operations at Dakota. She oversees planning, forecasting and financial analysis of corporate functions and provides reporting and analysis to the Executive Board of Directors.

Whitney brings a long history of financial leadership experience with government contractors, specifically in the information technology, defense, and healthcare arenas. She is specialized in indirect rate analysis, cost pool allocation, and corporate factor management. Her other areas of expertise include financial systems design and implementation, auditory compliance, taxation, corporate contract negotiation, and compensation analysis and benefits.

Whitney has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Baltimore, Merrick School of Business, and holds long-standing memberships with the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance and the Society of Human Resource Management. In 2022, she was spotlighted in the Top 50 Women Leaders of Maryland by The Women We Admire.

In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, and playing with her dog, Ruby Laverne.
